Hollywood Private Hospital South Block

The Hollywood Private Hospital South Block project comprised the construction of a new six level building with interconnection back to the main hospital. The building accommodates a private Emergency Department, two 30-bed ward floors with a third floor provisioned for a future 30-bed ward, a floor of health service tenancies, and a rooftop plantroom.

The mechanical services design featured chilled and heating water based VAV air handling systems, zone smoke control and stair pressurisation systems, central chilled and heating water plant with site interconnection of the chilled water plant, an isolation room in the Emergency Department and on each ward floor, and site connected medical gases to serve the Emergency Department, each of the ward floors, and the health services tenancies.
